Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this past week, you’ve probably heard that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale began last week! I won’t give you a big spiel about it, but I do want to explain why it’s one of my absolute favorite sales.

Normally, when merchandise goes on sale it is because it didn’t sell well at full price. Maybe it is now out of season, or trend. The anniversary sale is awesome, because it is the exact opposite of this. These are items for the upcoming season, marked down BEFORE they were even offered at full price. You can stock up on your entire fall wardrobe, in the middle of summer!

Last Thursday was the first day of “early access”, which meant the first day of shopping for all Nordstrom cardholders. The sale will open to the general public on July 21st. Of course, I had to stop into my local Nordstrom, and do a little shopping on the first day of early access. I’m glad I did, because the most popular items have been selling out right and left! When I shop the anniversary sale, I tend to stick to basic pieces, like jeans, sweaters, and booties. In my experience, some of the more trendy items will not sell out, and eventually end up on sale again later, or even at the rack! 

Without further ado, here are some of my favorites items from the sale!

I had been looking for an Addidas top like this, so when I saw this one I had to grab it! At $21.90, it’s such a good deal! These sneakers also caught my eye right away. They were too cute to pass up, and only $59.90! And of course, the Zella live in high waisted leggings are a must! They are lululemon quality, for only $35.90! I always have to stock up on these during anniversary.

These Articles of Society jeans are sadly sold out online. They are so comfortable, and I love the slight distressing. If you manage to find a pair of these in store, they do run a little large, so size down! This Lush tank is another great deal, at $18.90! I’ll be layering with this a lot in the fall. These booties are by Hinge, and are so so cute, and comfortable! 

I also picked up these BP loafers to wear to work! They are so comfortable, and so easy to style! 

I couldn’t resist when I saw these fun, Zella leggings. The blush color is so pretty, and I am obsessed with the cutouts!

This cardigan is my absolute favorite purchase from the whole Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It is everything I look for in a fall cardi. Soft, oversized…I would wear this every day if I could. Sadly it sold out online almost right away, but it doesn’t hurt to go into your local Nordys and see if they have any left! These BP mules are also perfect for fall, and extremely easy to walk in! 

 Last but not least, I absolutely love the ruffle detailing on this sweater. It’s lightweight, and will be perfect to wear to work come fall. Can you tell lavender is one of my favorite colors?
