Trends to Look for on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Studded Shoes

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I spent the day out on the lake with Brad and some of my best friends! It started with some kayaking, and ended with fireworks, so I definitely had a great time. I’m from a little desert in the middle of Washington State where lighting off your own fireworks is illegal. The notion that people over here on the Western side of the state are allowed to light their own fireworks is so crazy to me! Do you shoot off your own fireworks?

Ok, now onto the important stuff…we are only a few days away from early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Not that I’m counting down the minutes or anything…ok I lied, I am totally counting down the minutes. Because we’re getting closer, I wanted to break down a few of the trends I spotted in the calendar for you! Just so you will have a good idea of what you’ll be seeing on sale, and so you’ll know what trends to keep an eye out for!

When searching through the catalog, the first trend that really jumped out at me was studded shoes. There was even an entire page dedicated to them! There are SO many pairs of studded shoes on the sale, it would actually be hard to hard not to buy a pair. I love the slight rocker-ish vibe the studs give off, without being so in your face that only an actual rockstar could wear them. I think they’re extremely fun for fall, and will be a great alternative to own. Plus, they’re different and fun without having a crazy pattern. Not that I don’t love crazy patterns, but they aren’t always the easiest to match to an outfit. Studs will match with everything.

Here are just some of the gorgeous studded shoes we’ll be seeing on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I have my eye on those Rebecca Minkoff mules in the top row, and the Sole Society loafers below them! Which shoe catches your attention?
