I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, and a fun Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I never venture out into the stores on Black Friday, but I did do a little online shopping (surprise surprise). I’m excited for my packages to arrive, and show you all the deals I got!

In other news, Brad and I recently adopted a puppy! His name is Ren, and he is a Lab/Dutch Shepherd mix. We rescued him from a shelter in my home town. He’s only been with us for about 6 days so far, but we couldn’t love him more! I haven’t had a dog since i was about five years old, so raising a puppy is a whole new experience for me! Definitely different than raising a cat. Over the past week, I have learned that kittens are about 100x easier to raise than puppies, but I am having fun learning with Ren!

Anyways, this was one of my favorite outfits from the past week! I was visiting my mom, and grandparents in Spokane, Washington for Thanksgiving. We found this adorable alleyway downtown, and had to take some pictures for the blog.

Corduroy Skirt

I found this corduroy skirt at Forever21 about a month ago. Sadly it’s sold out now, but here are a couple dupes, also from F21 so they are a similar price point! I am really loving corduroy skirts at the moment, I bought a hunter green one at the same time as this red one.

Plaid Scarf

I’ve talked about this scarf on here before, but I’ve been wearing it so much that it deserves a little more attention. I found it on Amazon, of all places! It’s under $15, and is super versatile! I’ve worn it in a couple different ways, but the way I am wearing it above (sorry, I don’t know the proper scarf tying terms lol) is my favorite!

Ribbed Turtleneck

My black ribbed turtleneck is from Uniqlo, which has become my favorite brand for basics since I discovered it while in Japan. Local Seattleites, there is one in Bellevue Square, and another in the Southcenter Mall! You can also shop them online. They have the BEST basic pieces, for such affordable prices! Don’t even get me started on their Heat Tech line! I’m obsessed, but that is a whole different blog post. I’m wearing a medium in the turtleneck, which you might be able to see is a little big on me. The next one I purchase will be a small. I sized up to a medium to make sure it would fit my chest (I wear a 34DDD), but it has enough stretch that I am sure the small would also work.

Over The Knee Boots

My over the knee boots are my trust Marc Fishers that I bought last year. I highly highly highly recommend Marc Fisher when you’re looking for a great OTK boot brand, or just a shoe brand in general really. They are incredibly comfortable, I can walk alllll over in them without any pain. Plus, they don’t fall down my legs as I’m walking, so that’s a major plus. Depending on how much you usually spend on shoes, they may be a bit of a splurge. However, they more than make up for it with their comfort level. You’ll be reaching for them every day. Plus, they’re currently on sale!

Happy shopping!
