We’re only a couple weeks into Fall, and leopard print has been popping up EVERYWHERE. I’m not gonna lie, I was skeptical of its return at first. Leopard print makes me think of my questionable taste in high school, and Jersey Shore. Not exactly something I was excited to repeat. To my surprise however, I have been absolutely loving leopard print. There, I said it.
I’ve purchased three new leopard print pieces, and plan on buying at least one more before the season is over! Keep reading to see what it will be!
Accessories
If you want to just dip your toe into the leopard print trend, it’s best to start off with some kind of accessory! I loved this hat when I saw it at Swank Boutique while visiting my family. It’s the perfect thing to throw on when you want to jazz up your outfit a bit! You could also go with a leopard print scarf, or belt! Here are a couple cute options I found:

Tops
Next up, leopard print tops! If you’re a bit more brave, and into the trend, these are super fun! You can pair one with black distressed jeans, and combat boots for an edgy look, or go for a Tokyo-chic look like the one I went for here! I ordered this top before we left for Japan, and I was so excited because it was delivered the day before we left! I was kind of struggling to put together an outfit for this top when we were there, because I wasn’t liking what I originally thought I would pair it with. Randomly, I threw on this skirt, and somehow it just worked! I added the belt as a finishing touch! If I had access to my entire wardrobe, I probably wouldn’t have gone with the converse. We were walking everywhere in Tokyo though, around 12 miles a day according to our Fitbits, so comfy shoes were a must!

Dresses
I absolutely loved this dress when I saw it online, and couldn’t wait to style it! It’s a shift style dress, so I threw on the belt to cinch it in at the waist. It does have spaghetti straps, which obviously wasn’t going to fly in this chilly Fall weather in Seattle, so I added the oversized denim jacket on top! I considered going with over the knee boots, but ultimately decided on the little black booties, so that they wouldn’t take much attention away from the dress!

Shoes
I think my favorite way to wear leopard print is on your shoes. I love the look of an outfit with a fun pop of leopard print down on the shoes. They really just elevate your outfit to a whole new level of stylishness. For some reason though, I don’t own any leopard print shoes!! I don’t know why. After shopping around for the perfect shoes to include in this post, I think that will be changing soon! Here are a couple different pairs I found/have seen on others, and love:
