My Favorite Things: April

My favorite items for April

It’s almost the end of April (where has the time gone?!), which means it’s time for another round up of some of my favorite items! For my previous monthly favorites, click here. I only have four items to talk about today. I had a lot to say about each of them, and wasn’t trying to make this a marathon long post. So without further ado…here we go!

Bring It Up Breast Shapers

I’m probably going to end up writing an entire blog post on these things, because I love them that much. I used to absolutely hate wearing tank tops, and off the shoulder tops. They were so cute, but the thought of wearing a strapless bra under them was a nightmare. I tried every strapless bra I could find, but when you wear a 34DDD, they just aren’t going to be comfortable. They would slide down every time I moved an inch, but when I tightened them as much as I could, they dug into my waist and it was SO painful. I tried other sticky bras, or “sticky boobs” as my friends and I call them, to no avail. Most of them didn’t even come in a size large enough for me. One day I was wandering through Target (surprise, surprise), and I came across these things! I had just bought a romper with a deep v neck, and was hoping these would do the trick! I wore them once, and I was hooked!! They don’t show under any items of clothing, which was the problem I had with many other sticky bras. The best part? They actually offer support, and give some lift! For some reason, Target appears to have discontinued them (ugh), but I did find the same brand available on amazon! I have gone through a few pairs of them, and I’ve worn them all 25+ times. I basically just wear them until they wont stick anymore. I could literally go on and on about these things, but do yourself a favor and pick some up for yourself!! Ps. I’m wearing them in the pictures below!

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

Funny story, I actually received a sample of this product with a Sephora purchase I made months ago. I wear this bronzer every single day, and I still haven’t even run out of my SAMPLE! Yeah, I’ve been using the same sample of this bronzer for months without having to purchase the actual product yet. Don’t ask me how it’s possible, I’m still not sure. To be fair, it was a “beauty insider reward” from Sephora, which means that it was a deluxe sample. Regardless, months of use out of a sample is insane, and shows how little of this product you need to achieve a nice bronze look! I apply this in a 3 shape on each side of my face. I start at the center of my forehead, and make my way down to my cheekbones, and under my jawline. It blends into my skin so smoothly. You can dust on a little product for a lightly tan look, or go all out for a gorgeous bronze glow!

Ideal of Sweden Phone Case – Peony Garden

I’ve included an Ideal of Sweden phone case on a “favorites” post before, and here I am doing it again. Ideal of Sweden is a Swedish brand that specializes in phone cases, and accessories. They have sent me a few cases for free, and I am absolutely obsessed with them all. They make the most gorgeous cases, with super unique designs and prints. The one I’m talking about today (pictured above) is from their recent Spring collection. It is a beautiful print of pink, green, and blue peonies. I’m all about florals lately (ok, more like always), so when I saw this one I was head over heels for it! If you want to purchase a case for yourself, make sure you use my promo code: AMYB20 for 20% off your purchase!

BP Mirrored Sunglasses – Tort/Green

I’ve been grabbing these sunglasses non stop since I bought them. If you weren’t aware, BP in Nordstrom has the cutest sunglasses! They have all of the latest trends, and the best part is – they’re super affordable. Most pairs are only $14! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m an extremely clumsy person, and that might be an understatement. I made a promise to myself years ago that I would never buy expensive, designer sunglasses, because there is a 10/10 chance I would end up breaking them. I always get my sunglasses from BP, because I can get the cute designer look, but for a price that won’t sting when they eventually meet their doom (scratched lenses from being left out in my purse, snapped in half when trying to straighten them because I thought I had bent them, etc).
