Summer Outfit: Floral Off-The-Shoulder Top

I’m so excited for this upcoming week. After what seemed like endless rain and gloom, Seattle has finally decided to give us a little sun! If you need be, I’ll be outside soaking up every bit of sun I possibly can! While I love the four seasons that we get to experience in Washington state…I could use one or two extra months of sun and warmth.

I’ve said it time and time again, but I’m addicted to floral print. I don’t know if there is a floral print out there that I would not like. Needless to say, I totally fell in love with this floral top when I saw it. Aside from the gorgeous print, the ruffle detail at the top, and bottom is just so cute! This is exactly the kind of top I love to wear during the summer. You can throw it on with a pair of jean shorts or a skirt, and instantly have a cute outfit. Not stressing out over what to match with what is the best. So to sum it up, this top is right up my alley. The fact that it sort of matched my hair was an added bonus!

I paired it with a denim mini skirt, and my fave Marc Fisher espadrilles. For accessories I added a fun, bejeweled bag, white statement earrings, and sparkly pink cat eye sunglasses! Is it just me, or do these sunglasses totally remind you of the ones you wore as a kid? Most of my sunglasses are more on the boring side, so I broke out of my comfort zone a little with these ones.

On another note, yes my Starbucks order is probably the most basic girly thing ever. I get a pink drink. I used to say “strawberry acai refresher with coconut milk” to avoid having to say pink drink, but I’ve decided to accept it. Pro tip: order it with light, or no ice! They usually put quite a bit of ice in these drinks, so I always order mine with light ice. A cup full of pink drink is much better that a cup full of ice.
