Gingham & Dippin’ Dots!

Welcome to my very first blog post! Today I’m writing about two of my favorite things…gingham and dippin’ dots!

A few weeks ago, my mom drove across the state to visit me for the weekend! We had so much fun wandering around Pike Place Market, and Woodland Park Zoo! My favorite part of the day was definitely rediscovering dippin’ dots! Does anyone else remember when McDonalds used to sell them? I hadn’t even seen them in years, so while they were sold out of Rainbow Ice (the best flavor, hands down), I was still ecstatic to inhale the mint chocolate chip. 

It was one of the warmest days we’ve had in Seattle this year, so I was stoked to finally break out the shorts! These shorts are from Express, and I have had them for a couple of years. They are my go-to pair when I want some casual shorts that aren’t just denim. White shorts are a great staple to always have in your closet!

Off the shoulder tops are probably my favorite trend right now. I can’t stop wearing them! This cute, gingham, OTS top is a more recent find. I actually went to Target for some protein bars, and came out with this (Is it possible to leave Target with only what you came for? I’ve yet to see it happen.). My favorite part about this top is the sleeves. As you can see in my pictures below, you can wear them pushed up, or pulled down! It also sits nicely off the shoulders, and doesn’t move around as much as some OTS tops do!

Last but not least, my funky sandals are from Missguided, and are under $25! Talk about a good deal!
