Houndstooth & Yellow

Hi guys! This past week Brad and I have been busy moving into our new place! We’re still in the process of getting settled in, but we’re getting there! I’ve been working on setting up my new “cloffice” (closet-office), and can’t wait to show you all when it’s done! It was time to take a little break from the unpacking, so I decided to write about this Fall outfit I wore a few weeks ago!

I never realized how much I liked yellow until this year. I would stay away from it at all costs, but now it’s one of the first color I’m drawn to! This dark, mustard shade is my favorite. It’s the perfect pop of color to add with a more neutral look. I love how it looked with this houndstooth blouse!

I found these Good American jeans at Nordstrom Rack (click here to read my Nordstrom Rack shopping tips), and I love them! They are extremely comfortable, and have just the right amount of distressing! 

These boots are my go-to for over the knee looks. Marc Fisher is one of my all time fave shoe brands, and these are no exception! They’re great quality, they never slide down my legs, and they’re comfortable enough to wear all day long! Yes please!

To accessorize I wore my black and gold Gucci belt, a couple gold rings and a gold bar necklace. I thought the gold was a nice touch that played well with the mustard yellow sweater.
