I’m back!! Officially this time. So long story short, a few months ago I started having issues uploading photos to my blog. I tried to find a simple solution that I could figure out, as coding, is not exactly my strong suit. That didn’t quite work, so I kind of just gave up on the blog for a couple months. This morning I attempted to fix it just one more time, and I did it! I actually used coding to fix my blog! I’m feeling pretty proud of myself at the moment.
Ok, now onto the actual subject of this blog post! This is one of my favorite summer looks I’ve put together so far, so I just had to share it with you.
Amazon Kimono
Let’s start with the kimono because obviously it’s my favorite piece. The colors are just gorgeous, and I love the floral print! This is one of my recent amazon purchases, and I am so happy with it! My mom even ordered one for my sister after seeing mine! It’s only $18 (can it get any better?!?! Thank you Amazon), and comes in a ton of colors so you can get multiple kimonos! These are perfect to dress down like I did, but you could also throw them over a dress, or wear them with a cami and nice work pants. My sister lives right outside Dallas, so it gets hot hot hot in the summer. She was looking for a lightweight kimono that she could throw on with tank tops in order to look “work appropriate”, and this one fit the bill! I’m 5’8, and sized up to a medium in my kimono, because I like them to be nice and long and oversized! My sister is 5’5, and she wears the small.
Bodysuit
This bodysuit is currently $35, and comes in two colors. Yellow, and a gorgeous salmon color. I’m wearing the medium, and the fit is perfect. This one definitely fits true to size. The ruffle detail along the top is so cute, and the square neckline is so trendy!
Denim Shorts
These shorts are currently fully stocked in all sizes! They’re $60, and definitely worth every penny. They’re extremely comfortable, and the distressing in the front is just the right amount for me. I actually sized up in these, because denim shorts have a tendency of being tighter in the thigh on me. I wanted to make sure these were nice and loose, so I am wearing the size 8. The waist is a bit loose, but nothing crazy. Overall, I love the way they fit!
Sandals & Bag
My sandals & bag have been two of my favorite purchases of the summer. The sandals are extremely comfortable. They fit slightly smaller (go up at least half a size) and are currently 40% off! Sizes are extremely limited, sadly. My bag is perfect for Spring and Summer, and is $69.95.
