Nordstrom Rack has never let me down, and my trip there this past weekend was no different. I found the perfect summer dress! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I haven’t been shopping for a few weeks. Well that ended this weekend. I was like a kid in a candy store.
My boyfriend and I had an ongoing bet that I could/could not stop shopping for a whole month. I was resisting temptation so well. That is, until a day this past week. I went home on my lunch break from work, and changed from my heels into my comfy Nike slides. Only once I was back in the parking lot at work did I realize I forgot to change into my heels! I had to rush over to Marshall’s to pick out a pair of shoes that I could wear to work. Now, Brad told me that I could return the shoes, and I wouldn’t lose the bet. However…I had already worn them for a couple hours, and was too attached to consider returning them! They were super cute, and such a great deal!
Well that one pair of shoes turned into a shopping spree in Bellevue this weekend. But hey, at least I lasted three whole weeks! Anyways, while at Nordstrom Rack, a pretty, magenta dress caught my eye. It was a dress I recognized as one that was sold at Nordstrom last year! And it was in my size! The off the shoulder and ruffle details make it perfectly on trend for this summer, and it was marked down to $32 , originally $128! I had to have it! In these photos, I styled it with a fun clutch from Target, which is sadly no longer in stock, some Baublebar Sugarfix earrings, also from Target (and currently on sale!), and a fun, patterned kitten heel, with a slight scalloped edge. In my psych of addictions class in college we had to give something up for two weeks. I gave up shopping 😂 love this outfit! You deserve a reward for making it without shopping that long!
Haha that’s so funny because my boyfriend says the same thing about me. He said “you like to treat yourself huh?” And yeah of course I do… maybe a little too much lol. I’m trying to be better!
