Top Two Winter Accessories
Everyone knows that accessories are the best part of winter fashion. I absolutely love being able to hide in a big fluffy scarf, and puff ball beanie when it’s cold outside. Honestly, I think I wear a scarf AT LEAST 5/7 days a week during fall and winter. My favorite scarf tip: spray a little extra perfume on your scarf when you put it on, so you can actually smell it all day long!
I wasn’t planning on doing a winter accessories post, and I find it crazy that I’m already thinking about winter! However, I ordered a couple things a while back, and I finally got them earlier this week! I am so excited about them, so naturally I just have to share them with you! You’ve most likely seen these items on other bloggers already, which shows just how popular they are going to be this winter! Without further ado, here are my top two winter accessories!
Oversized Fringe Scarf
I am pretty sure Free People are like, the best scarf makers in the world. Seriously. A couple years back when I worked at Nordstrom, they came out with a really chunky, knit scarf for winter. It was so so soft, and cozy. I must have tried it on like 26 times. For the life of me, I can’t remember why I never bought one. I must have bought everything else in the store; don’t trust a shopaholic to work in retail, people! Anyways, when I saw this scarf on their website, I knew I had to snatch one up! It comes in seven different colors, and I chose the neutral one. Most of the scarves I already have are some funky pattern, or color. I wanted one that I could wear with everything! Now that I have it, I am so obsessed with this scarf. It’s so thick, and it really does keep you warm.
Puff Ball Beanie
Or “Pom Pom” beanie, as some people like to call it. In my opinion, this is the only hat you need for winter. Is there really anything more “wintery” than adding a puff ball hat to pretty much any outfit? Not according to Pinterest. I saw this one from Topshop, and fell in love. For one, this light nude-pink color is SO pretty, and will go well with basically any color. I also loved the puff ball, and the fact that it was faux fur, instead of the same knit material as the hat.
