Stripes and Pink Rain Boots!
Hey guys, happy Thursday night! So even though we’re having some crazy weather in Seattle (it snowed overnight, was sunny most of today, and just hailed like crazy), I’m already breaking out my Spring wardrobe! This is one of my favorite tops I have ever owned, and I just couldn’t wait to wear it. Not to mention, I just received a package with the cutest pink rain boots that I had to show you!
The Striped Top
I’ve always been a stripes girl. My mom used to make fun of me for only ever wearing stripes, but I didn’t mind! When I saw this top, I knew it was right up my alley! The colors are so pretty, they just scream Spring to me! The tie detail in the front is my favorite. You can leave them hanging down like I did in the photos above, or tie it in a bow! Both ways are super cute. I’m wearing a small in this top, and the fit is great. This is the size I would typically buy in this style of shirt, so I say it fits true to size! If you’re bigger in the chest like me, there is plenty of extra room so you won’t be squished down!
The Ripped Jeans
The top is slightly cropped, so I paired it with one of my favorite pairs of high waisted jeans. I have these in two colors, and love them both! The cut out knees adds just the right amount of distressing, and they look so good on! These jeans do run just bit on the smaller side, so if you’re in between sizes, size up! I wear either a 27 or 28, so I went with the 28 in these! They fit perfectly.
The Pink Rain Boots
I’m actually a little excited for the rainy Seattle Spring this year, because of my cute new rain boots! Chooka is a local brand that makes rain boots, and they sent me over a couple of pairs to try out! This pink velvet boot is just so cute, and perfect for my pastel wardrobe! I also received a classic black duck style, and I’m excited to wear those as well! They both have a memory foam insole that feels like you’re walking on a cloud!
The Straw Bag
The bag I’m carrying in the photos above is my new Spring bag! I love the shape and size of this straw bag. It’s perfect for carrying everything I need (including my camera for those outfit of the day photos – you can see more on my Instagram!), but not too bulky!
