The Best Winter Coat!

The best winter coat! The best winter coat! The best winter coat! The best winter coat!

Snowpocalypse

The Seattle “snowpocalypse” seems to be finally letting up for now. The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow! I’m so relieved, I can finally get on with normal life! Last week I had to reschedule a hair appointment, and we missed two of Ren’s puppy classes because of the snow!

Anyways, I should have written this post in the beginning of Winter, but better late than never, right? There’s nothing better than having a black puffer coat to wear in the Winter. I wear it pretty much every time I have to step outside. It’s sleek, not too bulky, and you can throw it over whatever you’re wearing. When I was younger, I used to hate coats, and would avoid wearing them. I always said that they ruined perfectly good outfits. I definitely had a point there, albeit a bit dramatic. Honestly, I still feel that way about certain coats, but my black puffer coat is the one exception.

I actually bought this specific coat a few months ago, after my puppy ripped a hole in my old puffer coat (RIP). It’s from one of my favorite brands, Uniqlo. If you follow me on instagram, or have been reading my blog for a while, you’ve probably seen me talk about Uniqlo before. I discovered them while I was in Japan this past September, and was thrilled to find that they have a store near me, plus you can shop online! I was really impressed with the high quality of their products, and how affordable their prices are!

Coat Details

My coat comes in five different colors, and is just under $100 before tax. For something you wear almost every day during an entire season, that cost is well beyond worth it. The design is sleek, so you won’t look like a big puffy marshmallow. It’s lightweight, but manages to keep you nice and warm. If you’re in the market for a new winter coat, I can’t recommend this one enough! It also runs true to size! I’m wearing a medium, which is the size I usually wear in a coat.
